Student Prize Giving Ceremony

The Glamorgan Business School held a prize ceremony to celebrate the success of high achievers within the faculty this week. The award ceremony acknowledged students for their outstanding work during their studies.

The ceremony took place on the university’s main campus and was attended by the winners and their families with the opening address given by Faculty Dean Prof Alan Lovell.
Students were awarded for the best overall performance in a range of subjects and courses that can be studied at the school including accounting and finance, marketing, international business and enterprise, and procurement.
The Association of Certified Public Accountants (ACPA) Prize was presented to Yvonne Quarshie for her performance at Level 2 in BA(Hons) Accounting and Finance by Kevin Henry, ACPA. Rhiannon O’Brien, HAYS Purchasing and Supply, was also on hand to present the HAYS sponsored award to Carol Nettleingham for best performance in the MSc Procurement award.
Winners who excelled in their chosen fields each received a trophy and certificate acknowledging their hard work and achievements during their studies.
